STEP 1
Please login into the customer area of our homepage http://www.securstar.com/welcome.php using your personal login and password data (you have received these login details by email on your purchase confirmation).

If you cannot find, or forgot, your login details, you can get them again by clicking here.

Once logged in go to the Downloads section and download the latest version of your software.

STEP 2
Please install and start the software.
If it is the first time you have opened the program you will see this screen, click on "Activate Your License Here" to open the registration menu.

If the software is already running, you should go to the help menu, in the about section and select “buy DriveCrypt”.
This will open the following registration dialog box:

In this dialog box, on the bottom left, the software will tell you your computer machine profile. You may needs this code in order to be able to generate a valid registration key for your program.

STEP 3
You have two ways of registering the software

a) Automatic Registration:

Press on the "register online" button.
The following screen will appear:

On this screen you will be prompted to enter your private SecurStar account login name and password.

The username and password were sent to you by email when you purchased the software and are the same used for accessing the SecurStar customer area. The username is usually the email address used during your purchase.

Once you have entered the login details, please confirm by pressing the "Register License key Online" button and the software will automatically connect to the Internet and register itself. Congratulations !

b) Manual registration:

Please go back to the customer area on our homepage and select "Key generator" from the menu below. Now select the product you wish to register. This will allow you to generate your registration keys.

On the online registration page, please enter your full name (or any other name you wish the software to be registered to), your computer machine profile code (you can find your computer machine profile in the following software registration screen)

Still on the online registration page, select the order number that you wish to associate with the generated key, and specify the version number of the software that you wish to register (it is important that you specify the correct version number of the software that you have installed on your computer)

Once the online form is filled in, click the Generate button.
This will generate a license registration file which you can download by clicking the Download button.

What to do with the new generated license-file :

Download the generated license file anywhere on your computer.
(i.e. C:/Temp)

Once the download is complete, go back to the DriveCrypt registration screen and press BROWSE

When you pressed the Browse button, an explorer window will open asking you for the location of the registration file you just downloaded. Locate it and click OK. After you have found the registration file and confirmed it, press on the button "REGISTER" button to register the software.

Congratulations, your software is now registered.
